Fin set up on TWP Bomb Pop

    Hey guys

I am starting to play w fin set up on my TWP Bomb Pop... Right now it has the 4 fin set up.

What happens if I remove the two smaller outside fins?

I am working on the elusive 360 and have gotten around (didn't catch the boat though). But often I get stuck by not getting the fins out of the water. I also don't want to give up much speed.

Oh yeah, and the wave is 2013 Z1 w VX and Pro ballast. Typically not many people in the boat.

    thanks!

I run the Future Black Stixx on mine (as you can see in the picture). The twinzer fins give the board more speed. You can try taking them out and see if you like it. You can also move them back in the fin box or all of the way forward. IMO the board is not as fast with the twinzers all of the way back, I like them at the front. I kind of broke my Bomb Pop last night...I'm sure it will buff out though.

Yikes!! Maybe mix in some gorilla glue with that fix. You need to share how that happened.

        Nice little crack Timmy. Brutal.

Do you put yours in the board rack? I feel kinda bad bc I only bring mine out when the kids are not around. It seems pretty fragile. Want to use it more but no bimini top so nowhere to put it. Thoughts?

I don't really like bimini tops. I think they are not worth the hassle.

            Other ideas?

Not sure if they work on your tower, but I have Corson pipers racks that agenda now sells.

EDIT: Added picture here. You can see my bomb pop. I run 4 boards in mine stacked. Some people keep them in bags but I don't have a bag for them. I think my boards take more of a beating when I have two in each rear locker while towing. My board has a few marks but not from the rack.

Looks like it would NOT work on the Alpha Z unless there is a special light bar clamp or speaker clamp you could buy that would be compatible.

I wish! 3rd season on the board and I was attempting an air 180 and only got to an air 90, landed perpendicular on the spine of the wave and it just snapped in half. Never been stored in a board rack, I have an '07 with the standard wakeboard forks so it doesn't fit.

Would you guys feel comfortable putting a board like the bomb pop in the 4" kneeboard rack? http://samsonsports.com/tower-access...ge-boardracks/

Then I could keep my other boards in the other side - obviously I lose a lot of extra space but might be worth it.
