TAPS not working

2008 Z1...TAPS are stuck on 8. Changed out TAPs motor in back if boat that doesn't seem to be the problem. Talked with Tige they recommended changing relay under the dash, changed it out with new version......the new version has an in-line fuse on the red wire of the wiring harness. Now every time I engage the TAPs down the in-line fuse blows. It's a 3amp fuse, changed to 10amp, still blows. Any advice?

My 2007 RZ2 taps quit working as well when I had it. You could go from 1-7 but then it wouldn't let you go back down to once you went up. Turned out it just needed some fluid.
