    New purchase

Looking to get in to a boat pretty soon. The rz2 as well as the z1 have caught my attention. I prefer the rz2 but will be just peachy with the z1. This will be a first boat purchase and when trying to start negotiations the dealer seems stuck on the sticker price. 2014 rz2 out the door price of $95,794.26. I can not find any info regarding what people have paid for 2014. Thoughts and insight would be appreciated. I have asked for some play and they are holding firm at the said price. Thanks for the help!

Seadealercost.com. All tige boats have approximately 30% markup from cost. Supply and demand rules impact price paid. Do you have other tige dealers close by?

location. I know that some dealers are cheaper than others. I would think off a 95k msrp that 80-83 would take it before tax/title and any trade issues. keep in mind you are in the "heat" of the season as well. another 2months and it's a different story.

This is in Texas. So there is a dealer in Austin, Houston and then Dallas area. The price of $95K is an after TT&L so drive out price. The MSRP was $105K then the dealer applied a discount of $16k then added TT&L of $6k. I mean what is the general price on these boats?

Also is it typical for them to hold strong on pricing? This boat was also the one in the show room so I don't know if this plays into negotiations.

What engine and what kind of trailer? Also what dealer did you get the price from?

Look up "leftover" boats on this site. You'll save tens of thousands (not an exaggeration), get full factory warranty, have the freedom to buy from any dealer anywhere, etc. It's the best way to buy a boat unless you insist on having something custom done by the factory (special color schemes, etc.).

The Ski Dock in Austin, Tx. Just the 350 engine and trailer with brakes. It was black dual axel.

I just feel the price is high and they don't seem to be willing to wiggle at all.

In my opinion that prices seems about average. It may vary from one dealer to another.

350, surf ballast instead of pro, no VX, what sounds like a base trailer=high to me.

Yeah I agree. It does not have a Vx. The options I listed exactly as on the quote. What should this boat go for?

Realize its not new or a leftover but this RZ2 with VX and Pro ballast for $67k and it says it includes a 3 yr factory warranty.

I did my homework before shopping the Novi and Det boat shows, I had 3 out of state left over models on my list at hard to pass up on prices, like the add above on the rz2 that looks like a good deal.
before taxes my purchase price was way below sale or asking price $30,000 off list.

The Dealer knew I was going to buy an out of state leftover and had to make me the offer to sell me the boat.

I know I got the best deal on a new 2014 Z3 possible!!!!
