I said this last year, and I'll say it again.

How about an electronic locker? A place to mount a couple amps, a fuse block, sirius controller unit etc., all in a lockable unit at the top of the passenger compartment. Heck they could even throw a couple cooling fans in there and make it really sweet.

Also my dealer mounted a couple of those closet light thigamajigs in the driver and passenger compartments. That is a huge help cause even when it is sunny outside, it is still dark in there.

Tige sure has their hands full with all of you guys! No matter what they do, there will be people who dont like it or have a better idea on how to do it! Now i'm not saying i dont want some things changed, but this is the best boat for my family and my needs!

        Nicky, Lucky, Whatever.

I'm sorry, I mean to be asking Nicky about how he is covering the engine vents.

I have heard a rumor that the vinyl can already be ordered in whatever color combo you want and it is not an extra charge. I'm gonna have to get off of my bandwagon now.

        Heavy haul,
I'm with you, I demo'd another brand boat with a friend who is too dumb to just go out and buy a new Tige, and it was pretty obvious that it was not up to par, in about any way. I still believe that Tige has the best boats out there for people who do a lot of different things with them. So I hope it doesn't sound like I am complaining, just making suggestions - maybe someone will post a 'what Tige already does well' thread.
        Be excellent to one another.

Amen! I was shocked to find out that my 'dry' locker underneath my dash leaked from the windshield. The recommendation from my dealer was *NOT* to install my amp in that locker. Tige's not alone in this.

The boat manufactures should have figured out by now that we're all gonna throw major wattage into the boats, so things like built-in power/ground to support these systems and some convenient mount points would be primo. Locking these compartments is a no brainer!

            Somebody call the wahmbulance!

Seriously, we all like our boats, otherwise we wouldn't spend countless hours on this board. One thing Tige gets from all this is market intelligence. Who better to get it from than die-hard fans? Even if we're a bit opinionated

Second! Tige would be a freakin' hero in the tow boat industry and would really get a lot of people who are faithfull to their respective brands looking at Tige with something as simple as this. Are you listening Tige? Just do it. It's probably the best idea on here.

I don't think this thread sounds like complaining. I take it like this, Tige is already doing great, but these are the things that could make them even better...

Each manufacturer is carving out their own niche, I for one would like to see Tige being the most inovative.....or I guess the most Intelligent inovators, they have great ground work with the Taps systems and Convex V hulls, build on the genius of those, with things like an Electronics locker, custom gelcoat, 6 dash options, yada yada yada.

There are things on my boat that still make my non-boat buddies go "oooooooooo that's cool" I just want a few more!

And I still like the sloped Transom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And you speak of intelligent innovation. There is absolutely nothing intelligent about that thing dude. It's a horrible design. It eliminates a ton of storage, it's not rider friendly and it lets water in over the back. Search your feelings young one, you know it to be true.

You're just square I'm with Tequilla, I like the sloped transom, especially when it looks like the new Ve.

So when are we going to get a little insight on what's happening for '07? Wasn't it about this time last year when we got a peek at the '06's?

Hey - I like the sloped transom also. I have never taken water in over the back. The bow is a different story.
                            Let it be!!!

Ahh, but you do not disagree about the loss of storage or the rider ........unfriendliness? Is that even a word? The only reason it is ugly to me is the fact that is a waste and it is only there for cosmetics. I really don't mind the profile of the boats, I just can't get over would could be and it just kills it. IMHO (yeah right, humble, I know what I am), so far as boats are concerned, form should always follow function. The sloped transom is the converse of that statement.

I dig the slope on our 22v. I couldn't justify an additional $3000 for a slightly better place to sit, three little storage lockers and a narrow walkthrough that I need to try and navigate my size 14 feet through on the VE. Long live the V.
