I have seen it up close, but I'm still not down with it. Skier's wharf Extreme in Lake of the Ozarks has a kick a** one that is all black with a green main panel and black up swoop panel that is sweeter than sweet. It just that the graphics over lap that panel, and it just looks goofy to me.

BTW, I really like the shade of Orange Tige is doing these days.

I would like to second the orange.

While I'm at it, second on the snap out carpet.

Hehe, Tramp Stamp. That's funny right there. Thanks yllw20.

My number one request: The ski pylon is not intended for use by tubes. It is fiberglass with an alluminum reinforcement in it. If you bury a tube just right, you will crack that. So I have resorted to using a harness attached to the lifting rings. This puts the tube back there so far that the wake is super wide unless I go 30 MPH, and the rope is also so low to the water that it constantly drags and sprays the tube rider - not what they want. It is only fun to get sprayed the first time, after a short while, not being able to see is really bothersome. My 02 21V had the ski pylon attached to the stringers and was perfect for pulling tubes.

I'll be on my bandwagon again about the dark vinyl. It is 175 degrees when the sun hits it. I know it looks cool in the showroom, but I will consider other brands if the dark continues and lighter is an extra charge.

I personally don't feel that their is anything wrong with the interior. I think the cusions are soft enough, and feel durable. My boat should be just as good 5 years from now, I think that soft Malibu stuff will need to be replaced in 5 years.

A pickle fork or wider bow is a great idea. I have also heard that is in the works for 07.

Under floor ballast would be really nice. I have never seen the stringers, but I think there would likely be a way to work around them.

Steering wheel controls would likely cost a ton of money and wouldn't help much, plus would they be waterproof?

Snap out carpet...Why not? Is there a downside? Will it wear poorly?

I think the graphics are fine, but due for a change now. The MC X2 graphics have grown on me, a lot. The X-star looks like it has been tagged by some gangster. Or should I say 'gangsta from da hood'.

The sloped transom does nothing but make the boat longer so you can call it a 22V or 24V instead of 21 and 23. It eats up storage space and makes the transom less friendly for putting a board on.
        Be excellent to one another.

For god sakes, I almost forgot my biggest gripe, the helm. I know you guys with new boats are saying, "What's wrong with the helm?" If you sat in my boat, you would know. It's the difference between driving a Corvette and a minivan. Mine feels like a Corvette with limo leg room. You tall guys would fall in love. In my normal driving position, I can barely touch the bulkhead under the dash. I'm 6' and wear 34" Levis, my legs aren't short. I can move the seat back to where I need to lie down to touch the bulkhead with my toes. I've yet to sit in a boat, Tige or otherwise, that has more leg room.

I know this isn't the best pic but, this is with the seat in my normal driving position. I need to point my toes to touch the bulkhead.

Next would be the dash. Why is everything so spread out? The brand new ones ('06) are better but only marginally. They are so big and bulky that they take up a ton of room. They extend way too far down and cut off a bunch of "knee room". They are not nearly as bad as the Centurions but they are still a waste of space and material. Malibu has the best dash on the market right now. Compact, easy to read and easy to opperate. It's no wonder Dog wants steering wheel controls. If I had to reach as far as you guys do to opperate thing, I would want them too. Fortunately, I don't have to because I have the best designed dash ever produced by Tige. All gauges in your face, all switches at your fingertips and tons of "knee room".

The 24ve is a sweet boat, we just got one so the changes they made vs. the v series are great. I hope they don't go pickelfork next year, maybe should have waited on the new boat.

              Tige needs to add:

Better gelcoat, I personally really like the new MC X2's.

Graphics, we got the limited because it is the only good looking one.

A decent factory ballast, I know just use taps...some people want ballast. We added a Rival system, but an underfloor factory ballast with a thru hull scoop needs to be born!!

Snap out carpet, for god's sake these boats are made for watersports, they are gonna get wet.

Pop down ski pylon, Malibu had a great idea there.

A decent up to date owners manual (something that doesn't look like it was produced in 1988!)

And finally, tell your dealers actual production times so people don't get told 6 weeks and wait 3 months for a new boat.

Snap out carpet is cool, but it does tend to lift up around the edges. Meaning it curls between the snaps.

Also snaps rust and get hot. All things that can be worked around.

Nicky is correct about the helm, things are really spread out, and could be made more ergonomic.

I'm not really for the pickle fork. It may not have been created my Mastercraft, but if you design a ski/wakeboard boat with one now, it screams "I wanna be a Mastercraft"

I am also a bit more traditional, I like my boats pointy.

Very true but, just about every boat out there now has a trim tab. You don't hear people saying, "There just trying to be a Tige." If it were my call, I wouldn't let that stand in the way. MB already has their first pickle fork out of the molds. That's gonna be a nice looking boat.

I would also like to add to my dream boat:

                  2 speed tranny (MB)

Calabria's "Pure Vert" balast system. It may not hold the most but it is wonderfully simple and effective. By far the best system I've ever seen.

One more thing, ace the forward facing hoop on the towers. It's the only thing keeping that tower from being attractive.

Snap out carpet would be nice, but the floor is aluminum. Maybe a carpet saver option.

Redesign the Bimini, it's a huge pain in the arse. malibu's is money

Vinyl that stays below 200 degrees

A cooler behind the driver's seat. Nothing like putting it in the most frequently used passenger seat.

                      Heated drivers seat.

                      Pop up ski pylon

I liked the ballast tanks, but make em bigger. 250 lbs doesn't cut it.

How about some storage over the engine, like the SAN220?

Dump the slant on the transom, I liked it until I went to an INT comp and a roller washed up all the way inside the boat. Thanks Lee! Now I keep 2 lifejackets tied to the rail on the transom to break up the rollers.

Speakers in the dash, so I can actually hear them.

I could care less about a ballast monitoring system, when it's full, water will over flow out the side.

I would like an accurate gas gauge and a larger fuel tank with fills on both sides.

I hope to see these changes in about 2 weeks

I never have liked the look of the pickel fork and wouldn't buy it. Just my opinion.

Put a darn cup holder in for the driver on all models! I know I shouldn't be drinking beer while I drive, but they can be used to hold pop & water to.

Snap out carpet with a lighter grey option. Contrary to what my dealer told me, my carpet does get hotter then !@#$.

We looked at centurion when we were shopping and I liked their in the gel pin stripes between colors. I know they would be tough to repair after an accident, but that is what insurance is for.

How about a small stainless plate on the top of the hull where the billet rests when the tower is down? Then if it were to slip out of your hand it wouldn't crash down on the gel coat.

Overall I am very happy with the look and function of our 06 20i compaired to the other boats we looked at. In a lot of ways it is much better than the competition of the same size. I don't personally want to spend the money for a CNC machined aluminium dash plate and CNC designs all over the tower billets. A little bling is good, but it can go too far for me.

                          Lucky is on the money.

The cooler is in the most occupied seat in the boat besides the driver's seat. I really liked Malibu's drop in cooler. I think that was a fabulous idea. One of the reasons that I never use mine is because I would have to haul everything from my kitchen to the boat one at a time, a drop in cooler would be sweet.

I have been pretty proud of how loud my Polk DB 650 interior speakers are until one day I turned it up loud when I was working on it and seated down low where the speakers actually pointing...Then the speakers were unbeleivable. I have heard mediocre speakers that sound very good when you actually put them where they can be heard.

I did not make the X Star break down, I was just asked to fill in for it and pull the Expert and Outlaw in a little 22v.

Well heck I got here to late. You all already talked about the snap in carpet like centurion and even the gel coat options. Personally I LOVE centurion's Orange. I wish Tige offered a Dark "graphite" or Dark Grey color.

How bout a locking mechanism for the storage lockers beneath the helm and glove box, for those of us w/ a couple grand tied up in amps sitting inside those things. I've already had to rig one up for mine and it was pretty simple after my amps got stolen the first time. In fact I don't think anyone offers one at all... do they? That'd be a very simple market first.... at least in this particular section of the market that is

If Tige does the Pickle Fork, they gotta offer it as only an option, like MC (at least on some of the boats), not just std.

What might be neat, would be an option for some SMALL fans installed under the storage lockers. Small enough that you could leave them on for a few days and the current draw was so small it wouldn't hurt your batteries.

Sorry but I must resort back to it.... MORE GELCOAT OPTIONS.

I'm kind of torn on this, but I do like the graphics laid underneath the gelcoat.

Although to play devils advocate, I have changed my graphics twice now... and I wouldn't have been able to do it if they had been laid in.

Last but not least.... on their Enzo, Centurion has it to where u can flip up the back storage locker pad and have a walk through transom. They still have a fully accessable storage locker door beneath it, but it also doubles as the walk through. Then you just lower the pad back down and never know it's there. Kind of nice to have the walk-through transom but have it hidden. I like hidden things like that, nice little touches.
Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

                                My wish list...

Ballast. Tige has to sack up (no pun intended) and ditch the "no need for bulky, unsafe ballast" marketing. GREAT WAKEBOATS USE BALLAST. If it can't go under the floor, use a durable sac system like Supra.

Interior. Spruce up the quality a bit. Sit in a Mastercraft, CC, Malibu, or Supra. Then sit in a Tige. The feel and quality is noticably different.

Ve Series. Great concept. PUT THE WALKTHROUGH STRAIGHT OUT THE BACK. In my opinion it balances the boat out and gives a much nicer overall appearance, while keeping the same functionality.

Bling Bling. You can cram that crap. Billet pieces do nothing for the boat except jack up the price. Billet this, CNC milled that... Please. Keep it as an option for those who desire the attention.

Snap-out Carpet. ABSOLUTELY. I am surprised not all boat manufacturers are doing this. This is a no-brainer, win win for everybody.

Dash. Malibu takes the cake. Nice. Clean. Simple. Solid.

Gel/Graphics. Keep it simple and easy on the eyes. 99.9% of all boat manufacturer's graphics stink. If I had to order any boat, the graphics will be left off. (By the way, the graffiti X-star is a sticker. They look 100% better with the sticker removed.)

Quality. (Should be at the top of the list) Spend less time on researching the bling factor and more time on the QUALITY factor. Shiney billet piece or functioning fuel gauge? It was mentioned earlier about quality service centers. Couldn't agree more...
