Does anyone here own a late 90's Tige Vdrive without spray pockets???

I'm looking to install a ballast system, looking for someone with the same boat with a ballast set up. I just got off the phone with Mike from Liquidaudio and my rear compartment will only hold about a 750lb sac without serious modification. I don't mind modification just wondering if anyone else has done this.

I've cut some sections out of my boat and fabricated some new ones. It's not a Vdrive but, it is similar in vintage to your boat. What are you looking to modify?

Nickypoo I'm looking to possibly modify the rear compartments to maximize space for a bigger sac. Here is a picture of the rear compartment. image.jpg image.jpg the gas tank sits behind that step up in the compartment and it only measures 22"L 22"W 26"H

This might be a stretch of your compfort zone but, what do you think about putting a belly tank in it? That's how any modern Vdrive is set up. Biggest problems would be getting a new tank under the floor and routing a new fill neck. Then pull the floors in the rear compartments, relocate all other crap back there and I bet you could get at least 900# in each side. There's a bunch of other stuff to think about as well but, there are solutions to problems.
