I have a question for all of you Tige experts out there. I have a 2004 24V Limited with a 350 Mag engine with 320HP. When I start my boat it seems to me that the idle is set too low, the motor lopes very badly. This weekend I ran into an issue two times. After pulling tubes behind boat I stopped and turned the boat off then I went to re-fire boat and engine would turn over but would not fire up. I can pump the throttle and get it to fire but it only happened twice and both times was immediately after pulling tubes. Just a FYI I do have Perfect Pass added to boat, not sure that matters but I thought I would add that. Can anyone on here tell me if the idle RPM can be increased easily? Thanks in advance for your input. And for the record I love my 24V, long live the 24V. And one last piece of info, I do have the FAE on it.

Z1, if theres an intake air leak, it will lean out the mixture and raise the idle. If it takes extra throttle to start an efi engine, the idle air control valve is usually stuck closed and theyre a common problem with many mercruiser engines.Fixing everyone elses boat just so I can use mine...
