Problem is back, indmar 350 2014 Z3 intermitten engine problem!!!

1 week ago the boat started to have an issue running at 20 hours, after running the boat for a half hour it would not hold an idle and would stall out if you tried to trottle it up.
took it in and it was water tested and ran good with no signs of a problem, I ran it for about an hour over the weekend and it was fine for me also.

Today my son took it out and they started surfing and then the problem started up again, it would hardly run and the idle was very low ready to stall, about 400 rpms and very week sounding and will just stall out if you try to trottle it up.

We let it sit for 10 minutes it ran good again for about 10 minutes with a good idle at 675rpms, then the same thing?

Let it sit for 2 hours on the hoist and it starts and seems fine, this sucks not knowing if and when i will need another tow.

    what to do now?

Where is the fuel level? Sometimes we see fuel pickup tube problems that only present when surfing.
Fixing everyone elses boat just so I can use mine...

Does this happen only when surfing ?? What about a cruise ? And how much fuel in the tank ?

Well after having the boat in for the third time for this problem they found it to be one of the fuel pumps, hopfully this is resolved?

I brought it back twice, they picked it up last Tuesday since I was spending to much time and fuel returning it, 50 minute drive.
I was told it would be delivered back to me yesterday for the weekend and when I got home last night no boat on the driveway, **** let down again!!!!
I was tied up but could have had someone pick it up if needed.
The third weekend without it, i should have kept my old boat as a spare!!

Of course closed for the weekend, I can only vent on here for now.

I feel your pain, similar issues with my boat the first weekend we had it. Really pissed me off being dead in the water as Master Crafts and Malibus passed me surfing and wakeboarding. I was so pumped about our new boat we had 11 family friends on the boat. Asking me questions and making comments. "A new boat shouldn't be having problems.""for 100k you would think the boat would be flawless." All very encouraging words as I'm royaly pissed. Dealer is a 3 hour drive, major inconvience. Hopefully they fixed the problem for you.

I too have a 2014 Z3, but no such problems. However, my dealer came by a couple weeks ago to check on my fuel cooler. Seems Tige' issued a service bulletin that some of the fuel coolers on 2014 Z3's need to be replaced. Ask your dealer to check it out. Mine was OK, but yours may not.
                Good luck!

Replaced the low pressure fuel pump but problem still exists, changing out the high pressure pump now, it's starving for fuel like vapor lock or something, let it sit awhile and it runs fine again.

Could it be this fuel cooler?
