Great trip - anyone getting ready to go - lake is a little murky up north of Bullfrog - a few sticks/logs floating around but not too crazy - fair amount of people but nothing compared to south of Halls as we took hiking day trip and we're very glad we stayed north. We stayed at the only camp spot in warm spring canyon - beautiful - surfed, tubed, etc in canyon and just out along tapestry wall all week. Very little traffic and calm water the whole time - perfect. Also saw good camp spots in knowles and cedar canyons but busier canyons as there are not supposed to be any good spots in warm spring but at water level last week, perfect - luck to find this spot - not standard houseboat anchoring (a little sand but not much) so probably keeps many away...enjoy if you are going - water level keeps rising!

We were up in the same area the week before - That area is a golden nugget early, when others are discouraged by the murky water and possible debris. We felt that considering the volume of runoff, there was minimal debris. Ah Lake Powell - one of my favorite vacation spots.Comment
