    Help - 2013 z1 dies. Radio works. Won't start

2013 z1 died while pulling and won't restart. Radio and other accessories work fine. Boat just won't start.

    Any ideas????

Does the engine crank over and just not fire? Did the kill switch get flipped? What happens when you turn the battery switch to the "combine" position?

      Nope. No engine crank.

Kill switch is in the run position.

      Combine position does nothing.

Now I can't even get power to Tige touch or the radio. But the manual bilge, blower, etc work.

Is there a fuse box for the ignition? Starter? All I see the is secondary ones.

I know these are the obvious ones but Is the throttle not in neutral? Did you check the safety lanyard?

Is the starter turning or completely quiet?

I can't remember but I think there are three relays on the motor too. If you turn the key and the fuel pump turns on, that relay is good. Then you can try swapping the relays and see if any combo doesn't turn on the fuel pump. You can hear it prime.

Sounds like both batteries are going down. This points to an alternator or battery cable issue. Hard to say armchair QB'ing it.

Does it make sense that the manual bilge, blower, etc still work? I can't get power to anything like starter, Tige touch, radio, etc.

Yes, because simple 12V DC motors will run until voltage is so low that the motor wont move. Things like stereo, amps, Tige Touch, etc, are processor controlled and likely have a minimum voltage threshold.

Unless you have a volt meter on board

Neighbor has one. Will give that a shot. What should it read?

How about the main breaker under the dash

I flipped that. Do I need to do something else to it?

Dumb question here, is the engine circuit breaker the same as the main circuit breaker under the steering wheel? The only circuits I find are the accessories ones and the main one. Thanks for all the help guys.
