    taps not working 2011 z1

A few weeks ago the taps stopped working while riding. Couldnt get it to move so went back to dock and took a break. Got back in later and was working fine. Yesterday it stopped again and cant get it moving. Switch works and motor is turning. Also has plenty of fluid in reservoir. The dealer said it the actuator on the back of the boat. Has anyone had this issue and where did you get the part. The dealer has it for 200 plus dollars but seen online that the lenco actuator is around 80 dollars. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

Check your reservoir to see if the pump suction tube fell off or is plugged.

Just have to pull motor off the top of reservoir right?

Is your taps plate getting stuck when its all the way down at one on the indicator?

I have a 2011 rz2 and every once in awhile when I take my taps plate to the one position it will stick there. I'm not sure what cause it to over extend like that, but like you everything else works fine.

Sometimes it will release on its own while in the water, but if it doesn't release I will jump in and lift up on the plate while someone is pressing the button to lift the taps to an up position.

Yes its on 1 when it sticks. I jumped in yesterday and lifted while my buddy hit the switch but couldnt budge it.

Yes I just unplug the control cable lift it out of the mount and take it out of the boat and take it to bench. I think there are two screws that hold the lid/motor and pump assembly on. You might as well change the oil if you go that far. It takes atf and I just used black permatex to reseal it.

Sounds like it could be the solenoid on the pump not openning to allow the oil to flow, check it for sticking>

It ended up being a bad solenoid valve. Replaced it today and working like new. Thanks guys...

Where did you get the solenoid valve from? Maybe that is what is wrong with mine also.
