One riser warmer than other? MP340 2007

Quick question. Out at the lake for my first real test of my new to me 07 RZ2 and I noticed that if I pop the hatch open one exhaust riser is noticeably warmer than the other. Its not really that hot, I can easily hold my hand on the warmer one forever if I want. Digital readout on the dash says engine temp is 145-150 and I havent got any alarms. So is this normal or do I have a blockage starting somewhere? The lake is a bit dirty but not sure where I should start checking or what hoses I should pull off. Its the port side that is a little hotter. Any help would be great.

Normally one side is warmer, watch the exhaust when you flush it out of the water and see how the flow looks.

Just got back from a few days at Lake Koocanoosa in BC. Pretty sure i was just being overcautious since it was my first few days using the new boat. I kept an eye on it the and never had any issues. Temp stayed under 155 and from what i can see when surfing, flow from the exhaust looks good on both sides. Now that i'm back home i thought i'd pull off a few of the hoses and check for any junk in there. I was thinking i'd get a raw water strainer, had one on my old boat and was always surprised how much crap was in it.

Red/black RZ2. We were up north of the Kikomun bridge for the last few days. Some friends are lucky enough to have a lease site on the water near there. Nice lake but lots of junk coming down the river this time of year. Cold too! Water was 58 degrees when i first put the boat in.

Thought i'd update this. I pulled off a few hoses and found lake junk in a few places. Tranny cooler was a bit blocked but obviously not enough to affect engine cooling much (we were running around 150). I'm going to poke around a bit more and see what else i can find, i have no idea if the previous owner ever cleaned this stuff out. Going to order a raw water filter tonight as well.

I know the raw water flows throught the Vdrive before anything else but i was wondering if there is a screen in there or anything to catch debris?

no screen in the v-drive, but the trans cooler can collect debris.
