Lake Conroe 4th of July Fireworks

Anybody know all of the displays on the lake this year and the best places to view them? Last year I watched the Walden and Bentwater displays near the Walden Marina.

Fourth of July Firework Shows will be Friday night (the 4th). Walden, Bentwater and The Chamber of Commerce (at the dam) will be launching somewhere after dusk or about 9:15 PM

I live in Grand Harbor and we will prabably just watch next to the Walden Country club on the water. The dam will be very busy and very rough.

Cool thanks. I have done it a couple times now and it does get pretty crazy. We usually just give it 15-30 after it ends to let the crazies clear out.

We used to live in Grand Harbor but not on a water front lot. We live in Del Lago now on the water. We face the Walden Rd bridge to your boat ramp.

My boat is in the April Sound marina so we usually just go out to the mouth of that cove and get a pretty good view of the ones at the Dam plus Walden. I try to stay on the very edge of the main pack that congregates in the main part of the lake and then as soon as the fireworks stop I head back to be the first one back in the slip before everybody else gets going.

We do the something similar but stay on the little Lake Creek portion of the lake and see the Bentwater and Walden Fireworks.

Unfortunately, I've seen too many "near misses" and 4ft swells after the fireworks complete that we just stay off the water on the night of July 4th. Too many people drinking all day and BWI after the fireworks.

We went to the dam one year and will NEVER do that again... We stay off the main part of lake and have never had a problem. It is a 10 minute ride to my dock and we usually start heading back just as the finale is over.
