Tell Tige what you want to see in your next boat

Here are my suggestions:

- New tower that looks size appropriate for the ASR
- Make the Alpha Z tower taller
- Z5 Cargo Bimini option
- Tige Touch Delete or some R20 style basic dash option, or make the basic dash the standard and Tige Touch as the option
- Make the cooler in the bow walk-through area optional, or make an optional walk-through bow
- Aluminum Trailer options?
- Easier way to open the rear bench to access the transmission and other important shut-offs in there. I actually have a mod for this, I'll post it up when I get a chance.

Oh yeah, my biggest suggestion, they need to scale down the ASR a bit and make one G21 sized. Maybe call it the next generation RZ2 or the AZ2 or AZR or something, but IMO, Tige needs something to compete against the G21. Maybe a higher freeboard RZ2 with a bow that is deeper and sits higher off the water?

All good comments, especially about the TT as an upgrade although I think that is a money maker for corporate.

After all the R&D that Robert Garcia AKA Ragboy has done I am surprised that in 2014 Tige still have slow fill and drain times, the rear ballast bags are way too small and why in the world are the vent line not crossed as well as having one way check valves installed in front of the fill valves? It is nominal cost to do that in production and someone paying $80+ does not want to fix the passive draining of the bags when they are full.

Robert, please feel free to tell everyone what your comments/suggestions to Tige has been over the last 4 years regarding the ballast system?

Surf "systems", in their current applications are already dead technologies. The next wave of technology is already in development. It's still early but, I'd be willing to bet within two years (I was told less than that) we will see something that will truly be a game changer. Since that company has actually taken me seriously, I'll leave the actual idea quiet but, suffice to say that any manufacturers not working on this are already way behind.

I too think touch screens suck. I've heard some really good explanations for their application but, you really need redundant systems in place for them to be a realistic option so now the consumer has to pay for two systems? That's stupid. 100k boats are ridiculous and touch screens are just another symptom of this sickness. Tige can laugh at this all the way to the bank. I still think it's stupid.

I agree with the TT as an option
They should come with an Acme 1235 or some variant
Make a Samsom tower an option
Bigger brakes on the trailer
Electric brakes on the trailer
Some options on the interior designs, in my opinion, the interior designs don't have any continuity, they just seem to have weird angular patterns for no reason

-bilge in Low spot on boat
-redo of tige touch with buttons
-VX stock
-ws420 stock
-eliminate hard tank & go with larger bags and transfer pumps with vents. 2600lbs for rzr

I love my rzr & would only change above. I do have to say Tige has a communication problem.
My boat was late by several weeks with no notice, just play the waiting game & it took time away from use. Most recently I ordered a VX in February with a 6-8 week lead time. Dealer received it may 27th. Communication is key. Why quote a lead time if you have no intention to meet it. Notification that a delay is going to happen would be a good start. If you don't care... Pretend you do! Your customers are your business.

I like this thread and want to first say that I like my Tige(s) and like the fact that Tige and its representatives listen to what we have to say on here. Like any business constructive criticism is what makes things better. Here is my short list in no specific order and again I love my Tige boat(s) and will probably never switch brands due to the dealer network and this site of helpful ppl.

*Remove all carpet in the storage and locker areas replace with something that dries instant or doesn't need drying. Along with that prevent bilge vents under windshields from allowing rain or lake water into compartments. Use a solid hose instead of flex hose possibly. that leaks.
*NSS or gate type system for surfing or a quicker ballast system with larger pumps/ hoses.
*Bring back the Vision chair! It's comfortable, It swivels, and It dries fast, very little vinyl on it to go bad!!
*Taller Z series tower with thicker aluminum to handle more stress of trailering rough wake large rev10 spealers etc.
*Transom cooler and a cooler under the front bow seat that is reachable from outside the boat. Also drain to outside of boat and not in bilge area.
*Bow area remote for stereo control as we beach a lot and hate having to walk around to back of boat each time.
*Transferable warranty would definitely be a selling point for newer low hour boats or someone wanting to sell/buy a low hr boat.
*Walk Thru bow needs brought back IMO. I hate the extra seats to clean protect etc. Less upholstery/carpet in a boat the better!!
*Under floor large ballast system with easy access to fittings and pumps.

@JLG, you can add additional stereo remotes. I'm not sure which system you have buy I'm pretty sure you can add more than the 1. I had 2 on my old I/O running a clarion deck.
