    Delam' Phase 5 fix?

All of sudden the tail of my brand new Phase 5 X has a slight delam. Clean board never touched anything harder than water for one pull... Where the edge meets the base it's seperated. It's a clean 3" section. Looks like I could glue it back together easily.

Curious what kind of glue or epoxy I should use on these boards?

BoardCo.com is where I bought it and they're just draggin' their A SS on the deal. Finally they say we can't deal with it and pass the whole mess on to Phase 5 (cause their duchebags...)

I'd send it back to the Phase 5 but I really don't want to miss any more wave time this summer. I could be waiting for who knows how long for Phase 5 to decide if they'll cover the warranty. So I'm gonna fix it and f' them

    PM Chaos. He'll know.

I know a lot of epoxy type stuff will melt the foam inside. No bueno. I have used nail polish on dings with excellent success. 3" is a long section though for nail polish.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

This raises a good question. What is the right type of resin to use for a given board construction? Solarez has both a polyester resin all-in-one product and a epoxy all-in-one. The description on the epoxy-based resin says it's "safe to use on Styrofoam core boards", whereas the polyester resin says not safe for Styrofoam core boards.

According to BoardCo. I'm supposed to use a non petroleum based epoxy

Went to the hardware store and couldn't find one single epoxy that listed any of it's ingredients..

I used a kit from Cal Marine Sports on my Triple X Slayer but I don't remember exactly what it was.
