    First time surfer!

    Due to the age of our kids (1 and soon to be 3) our boating over the past couple of years has shifted from boarding/skiing/surfing every time we go out to a lot more cruising, swimming and going out to eat. This is fine with me because we are fortunate that the kids still love to be out on the water and just jump on and off the swim platform. Anyways, this past weekend we had some extra help to watch the kids and drive the boat so I asked my son if he wanted to try surfing with daddy. We got up on the first try and he loved it! Obviously I am as excited as he was so here is a video.

      Great work - way to be a Cool Dad. Its great to also see a kit "running rope" it keeps them involved even when they are not on the water. How exciting for the family!!

          Sweet, love seeing the little ones doing water sports early and not being afraid of them. I've done the same with our two kiddos 6 and 8. Son enjoys it much more than daughter.

            Awesome! I love tandem surfing with my daughters. I think it will be harder on me than them when they get older and don't want to do it with dad anymore.
