Can you Dim the Tige Touch display

Went out on my first night ride last week and noticed I can't dim the TT display. In settings it has backlight adjustment but it didn't seem to do any good. Am I missing a setting or what do people do? Used a towel but wondering what other options are out there.

Yes, the back button press and hold it. This is the button just to the right of the home button. You can adjust the brightness of the TT in the settings menu. The adjustment you make is only going to affect the dimness when you activate it.

set the dim setting in "settings" to about 5...go to the "HOME" screen then press the dim button...give it a sec and it will dim...this is my technique since i haven't been able to get it to dim on any other screen other than the home screen. If i remember right it should get dimmer on the dimmer setting, on mine it goes black on about 4 so I just press up to 5 or 6? then leave it. It's almost all or nothing on my TT.
