New Medallion Update

Does anyone have the 2014 Medallion update? I know Wicked usually does so I'm hoping he will chime in.

I updated my 2012 to the latest update around this time last year. At first it seemed to help with a few minor bugs but lately, my TT has been really buggy.

My ballast timers seem to reset all the time and I'm constantly having to save my favorite again.

I would be interested in doing this as well. not been done since new and have noticed a few glitches. dealer is quite a drive and I'm sure, knowing skipperbuds, this is a $300 upgrade...

ouch.. 300. Being in the computer field and knowing how amazing software and hardware upgrades go.. if its not broken dont fix it. In houstons case.. upgrade....

not sure that's the actual price, just figured it'd be double what any other dealer would charge. they are not know for being an inexpensive dealership(chain).

I have not been able to spend any significant time on the new boat with this software package. So far I have not seen any glitches or bugs. But I will spend a week at Powell starting on Wednesday so we will see. As far and the dealer cost to upgrade, If they do charge (doubtful) I would hit up Tige direct it's a pretty easy update to install your self.

Stupid question time. Is the Medallion update the same as what some call a Viper update?

Quick question, Is there anything really new with the update or is it just to fix a few bugs that everyone is having?

Harvey said to me , it should take care of some Bluetooth issues , and add some other little tweaks, I did notice on ballast fill times it has added half mins

2013 Z1. I have the ballast timer reset problem and I'm tired of putting up with it.

I know how to install the new firmware but I can't find anywhere to download it from.

What ballast problem? Do you mean it resets when you go from accessory to start the boat?

Send me a private message as well as your email and I will send it to you, which version do you have now?

The whole system restores to default settings periodically. I'm not sure what triggers it. It does appear to survive turning off the battery switch but can reset randomly. I notice it on the speed volume adjustment and ballast timer settings.
