    White vs Painted Decks?

I have white in my Current Z3, but I've seen some painted decks like below - what are you thoughts on this? Seems like you would never keep the water spots away and would have to wipe down everytime after use. Anyone have any experience with this?

Where did you see that ASR? Looks exactly like the one sitting in our showroom. To answer your questions we are seeing more and more boats with colored gel in the interiors. Its popular. As for water spots, 99% of people buying new boats "claim" to wipe them down every time they are out, so to most color isn't an issue. They are wiping them down anyway. But darker colors due tend to show the spots more.

I am a big fan of the colored decks. It's a personal preference IMPO. They just look better. Unless your doing an all white boat get a colored deck. Same with the platform..I prefer colored ones.

I like the color, but we go to places that hit 120 so you need the white . Even a light gray or tan can drastically increase the surface temp.
If you take a boat with the blue on it to our like in August, you better set a towel on it before you touch it or it will burn you.

We have to wet down the carpet some times, as it gets to hot to touch with your feet.
Tige, it's a way of life!

That's a good point, texas gets pretty dang hot, those surfaces would be on fire.

Our 06 had the colored deck option in Pacific Blue, as opposed to the base level "frost" white deck. But in either case, nothing is painted, but the gel coat is just tinted, whether white or other color. The tinted gel-coat is laid in just the same.
