    what prop to pick up

had a spare lying around, 13x17 or so and think it's sold finally. I am wanting to pick up a spare prop for the tige, or possibly a new and replace the factory prop on the boat now. what would you all recommend?
boat is a '12 22ve. we only wakesurf so not interested in top end nor wakeboard speeds. def. not oj as I had not so good experiences with their props on the old supra and once I switched to acme, the growling was completely gone.

    thoughts from the group?

I doubt it would be a great fit, but if you are looking for a good deal on an acme 537 (13.5" X 16 - 0.105 cup - 1-1/8" LH) I know a guy (me) that has 2 - one I would sell and I need to keep the other as a spare. One is new in the packaging and the other had been dinged late in the season last year, but was sent in for repair. For a nice guy like you - I would give you a great deal on either prop.

Sandm, what are you running now? check with acme and see how the 1235 works for your setup. If it's a good fit then you can demo mine when I change it in a couple weeks. I will shoot you an email this weekend. You guys on the water yet?

not sure what I'm running now, just wanna pick up a spare prop that fits the boat, and possibly one to replace the one I have if there are benefits to changing it out. probably pass dandy. that's not too far off from the 13x17 that I sold.

on the water and a few hours so far. weather has been rainy for weeks/months here. heading up to a clear lake this weekend. why you changing out? that 1235 should be a great prop to get a ton of ballast up on plane. probably not good to waterski with but guessing a good top end prop would suffer getting you on plane when ballasted out? iirc, that's the prop I ended up getting for the supra and it was a night/day difference from the one mentioned above..

1235 is great for surfing but struggles with wedge for wakeboarding. Our dealer threw in the 2079 with the boat so we will change back and forth. I really want the 2079 for Arrowrock, cascade and McCall.

sandm - we have yet to get out and feel good if you can. As of now, all the lakes in our area are "no wake" lakes due to the high water levels. If the water doesn't drop in the next few weeks, they will have to move or postpone 10K Lakes WakeSurf event as Minnetonka is currently under no wake rules.

I figured you would pass, but thought I would offer.

ewww. minnetonka had the story on some town pumping sewage into the lake. I'd pass on that body of water this year

Sure do, 1 537 new in box and 1 537 that got dinged last fall and has been reworked. Send me a PM with questions or offer.
