    Need Help Quick! Pulling Prop

Ok guys I am feeling like an idiot right now!!!

I just got my new 1235 prop and am trying to get the stock 537 off and it will not come off!

I have pulled the prop on my previous mastercraft a hundred times and usually after 4-5 turns on the acme puller and pop...off it comes.

What is the trick to getting these off? I don't think it has ever been off the boat.

Help! I have a huge crew I am taking to the lake in the morning and need to get this off. Any help would be appreciated.

Put the puller under tension, than wrap the end of it with a brass hammer.

I've had to hit the back of the prop with a piece of wood or rubber mallet after I tightened up the prop puller. Hope that helps.

          Thanks guys!

I have had my new 1235 for a month now but have not had time to pull out of the lake, I think this project would be a bitch to try while the boat is on the hoist?
6ft deep if I drop anything.

Mabee tomorrow if the michigan rain stops.

To those reading this, if you lube up the shaft with some grease, it comes off a lot easier next time.
