    Upgrade/Modification Ideas wanted (w/pics)

For the first time in my life, Im a boat owner! Just got a 2007 20V a couple of months ago and its time to make it my own. I love the boat the way it is, but I’m ready for a few personal touches! Im looking for upgrades/modifications that other people have done. Anything from interior/exterior lighting, engine mods, stereo stuff, things that make certain tasks easier.... You get the idea. Im open to anything and like most people, i would love to see pics of what you did! Take this time to toot your own horn and show off what you have done.... thanks to all that participate

My first recommendation is to get some Seadek pads for that swim platform.

2009 RZ2, PCM 343, MLA Surf Ballast, Premium Sound.
    2013 Toyota Sequoia 4WD W/Timbren SES

I love that Seadek! Can't wait to do mine. I would recommend a Dual bank shore charger. One of my best upgrades. Plug in once the boat is in storage and it maintains the batteries so the boat is ready to go next time you need it. Also make the batteries last a ton longer keeping them topped off.

I didn't realize they made chargers that mounted in the boat! I have a battery tender that does the job, but that would be way more handy. I have seen the SeaDeck pads, and I am always blown away by them... very sharp!!

Sea Dek pads and onboard battery tender X2.

Fuel flow meter (fuel gauges on boats with wide flat gas tanks are useless).

          Extra battery (or two extras

Get a coupler ball lock (for when boat disconnected) and a receiver lock and coupler release lock (for when trailer attached)

          Fulton twin wheel trailer jack.

Upgrade your stock bilge to 1200 gph and STRONGLY consider adding at least another 1200 GPH bilge pump.

Check date codes on your tires -- change them if more than 4 years old.

Get a spare tire -- I don't see one on the trailer.

Cut your swim deck down and/or add a surf flap underneath.

          Upgrade to dual speed winch.

Replace all nylon straps on winch and tie downs.

First things first. FAE. I certainly wouldn't own a boat without putting one on.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

perfect pass is a must if it does not have speed control. The marriage saver.
Dont get jumper cables get a battery jump pack with a built in air commpressor. This way you can jump start without needing anybody else.
X2 on box anchor, shore spike - awesome products
spare tire, a bottle jack to lift trailer, tire iron that fits trailer lugs. Found out the hard way once that truck tire iron did not match, now carry universal tire iron
                First aid kit
                dive knife, goggles
                etc
                etc

How about a safety release? I bought my for safety but, it has turned out to be incredibly convenient. Just snap the rope in and go. It also keeps your ropes from getting so "spun up" since the attachment point spins.
