Bimini for my '99 21V riders

    Hi all,
Can someone that has a bimini on there boat w/the Metcraft tower give me the measurements of it so that I may have one made to order?
    I have a '99 21V riders w/the factory metcraft tower.

    Thanks
    Love your little ones!

I just got one from www.towerbiminis.com and put it on my boat 2 weeks ago. it is sweet. no tie downs and 3 mounted clamp (like a rack or speaker) It is super easy to remove as an assembly or to put out.
They cost a little more, but I think they are well worth it....no drilling or mounting tie-down clips.
they will fax you a measurement sheet, points to measure and mark. then fax back and they will make it......It was pretty simple.
good luck on your search.....I am trying to get matt garcia to take some pixs and will post to the site.

The first thing you should do is get rid of that tower. I'm not trying to be a smart ***, those things are dagerous. It's only a matter of time before if breaks. When it does break, and it will, you will need a new tower and a new bimini. Hopefully nobody will need any new blood.

So far as biminis go, I've heard good things about towerbiminis.com. So long as your willing to accept that rarely does anything fit just right when you have a customer sending you measurements. Just a fact of life. They are building a product to your specs that you gave them so make sure they are dead nuts, otherwise you may have to make minor modifications.

I had mine done by a local cavas shop. It's nice to be able to give it to them and have them build it to the tower instead of somebody's measurements. If something comes up that nobody had thought of (usually some sort of clearance issue) then they can deal with it right then and not after a frustrating day of messing with a bimini that just doesn't work. I was able to take the boat down and show him exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it to fit and mount and look and work and all that. All the little stuff makes a big difference in the final product.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

        Overton's

I was able to measure up one from Overtons. I ordered a bimini w/Sunbrella (Grey) top and measurments of 32" Height, 60" long, and 73-78" wide. The legs were able to be spread to 88" (just barely) where they attach to the beam width near the tower. I have the Metcraft tower and it's difficult to find a bimini that would fit in between that tower and my beam width of over 88". Oh, the price w/shipping was only $304. Over half the price of any of the custom quotes I got! If you want some pics or more info, let me know. The only change I had to do, was get the different inside mounts for the main legs ($3 bucks). Now I can enjoy the boat w/out getting burnt.

Congrats. I'm glad it worked out for you. $300 bucks? Wow. That is dirt cheap. Post some pics if you can.

PS- BE CAREFULL WITH THAT TOWER. Make sure every bolt on that thing is tight and whatever you do, don't pull a tube from it. Safety first.
