Question for those with Pro Ballast Systems

How long does your bow sacks take to fill?

I have the pro system on my 2014 RZ4 so there should be a pair of 550 pound sacks in the front along with a pair
    of 600s in the rear.

I'm beginning to think they put the wrong bags up front. It only take my bow sacks a couple minutes to fill up completely to the point
water is coming out the drain holes.

The rear on the other hand take quite a big longer, I'm guessing around 8 minutes? There is only a 50 pound difference and they
all have the same Tsunami pumps. By the time water is coming out of the bow, I check the rear and the top bags are not even starting to fill up yet.

I know the bow is empty when I'm filling because after every trip our boat launch has a very steep hill and i park on it and a lot of water
that did not drain on the lake will drain on the hill.

You have underfloor hard tanks in the rear. They are 250 lbs a piece. If you have 600 lb bags that's a total of 850 lbs.
I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.

No. It's 600 total including the bags in each side of the rear. Like I in the OP, the bags on top are not even beginning to fill before the front is full.

Thanks! Just found the thread, going to check to see if that is the case.

Are you sure you have the pro ballast and not just the surf? No difference in the back, but big difference in the front. That would explain the time difference. The rear is going to take a bit longer because you are filling one point thru the other. So with that in mind and the extra 50 lbs you are probably looking at 1/3 longer. Do the front fill at a similar rate, meaning do both start to over flow at roughly the same time? If they are twisted or not fulling filling for some reason, the chance of them being the same is pretty low. Do you have your spec sheet to check for sure what set up you have and not just taking a salesman's word for it?

my fronts fill very fast as well. And one side fills much quicker then the other. Seems to be plenty of weight though, so I quit worrying about it. I should take a look and see if mine are twisted. On the Z its so hard to see up in there.

Same with my R20, the front seems to fill up in only a couple minutes. I'll check for twists as well!

If the bow is truly starting from empty and both rear ballast take about the same time to fill, I would seriously double check to make sure you actually do have the Pro-level up front and not surf. With the surf level bow sac, you have a single sac being filled with the same 2 pumps as the 2 pro bow sacs. Thats 2x the fill rate

I have not figured out how to access the front bags on my z3
Even the left and rights fill and empty at slightly different speeds
I do have the pro ballast option per the spec sheet.

only way you can get at the bags in the z3, is to remove the plastic wall in the storage compartment under the glove box. couple screws will remove it.

On paper I have it. It's in my build sheet. I can't really compare the port and starboard fill times due to another error on Tige. The bow starboard side doesn't work unless I prime it by opening the cap, or if it's on while on plane,
and even then it is sporadic. I'm going to check if the bags are twisted and either way it should be fixed when it goes in for service.

Have you actually pulled out these 2 sacs? Not doubting, just trying to establish a time line of when the change was made from a single U shaped sac to two individual sacs, like the Pro level has been from the beginning.
