    Tige touch/ballast drain help

First off, after some time on the Z3 it's official, I hate the Tige touch. Now for my problem, after a day surfing I went drain the rear sac and hard tank and nothing happened. However, when I hit the manual toggle switch under the helm it drained. Is this just the fact that I don't know how to operate the TT or do I have another issue?

Did it read drain on the screen for that location? If it drained on the toggle redundancy switch under the dash it should drain from the TT. How is you battery voltage? If you batteries are low the TT gets froggy pretty quick. Even at the point where the engine still starts fine. Are you running your battery switch on combine?

Read drain on screen and first trip on new batts.

First I would check to see if the pump is running when activated from the TT. Pretty simple, just open the rear compartment and listen for it running. I had a rear that wouldn't drain on a water test a week ago and it was a hose routing/ priming issue and had nothing to do with the TT. Shifted the back off the drain line and it pumped. So it may have been a issue outside the TT. See if it(TT) makes the pump turn on and report back.

Did you check the fuse in the Medallion Viper box? IIRC, the manual switch has its own circuit protection that independent of the Viper.

Ok. Pump does not run from TT but works fine when using manual switch under helm. Check the fuses in the Viper and all look good. Also check the connections going to the viper and they all look good.

Gonna need to put a volt meter on the pump's viper box fuse when the pump is turned on via the TT. Should see battery voltage, then no voltage when off.

Finally found the issue. Loose connector under the helm. They wires were stretched so tight that it was pulling the connector loose.
