The new style vinyls seem to not get as hot as the older ones.

My vinyls the grey is the Beluga pattern and the white is a pearl look with a reflective pattern and the black is a weave similar to what is used on goalie pads. Mine turned out great. I sold that boat in better condition and better mechanical condition than the day I bought it. Best boat I have ever owned.

So it took a bit longer than a few weeks to get around to it, but I've finally had the upholstery redone! I'm actually stoked with the way it turned out - looks like a new boat!

nice looking boat! What was an approx. cost of the upholstery renovation?

It cost me about AU$5k - and that was to get every cushion redone, as well as new carpet. Pretty convenient, too - I kept the boat in my driveway and they just unbolted all the cushions, took them away to get them redone, and then bolted them all back in. That's the going rate out here in Australia. I imagine it would be significantly cheaper to get done in the US.
