Today was the first day on the water. Everything ran great until I realized that I my bilge area was taking in a lot of water. So I turned the boat off and check for leaks at the plugs and around the motor and I couldn't find any leaks. So we went back out tubing and it was happening again. So I opened the engine compartment while the boat was running and on the passenger side of the motor towards the back water was shooting out like crazy. The faster the rpm the faster the water would shoot out. So we cruised back to the dock and got the water out. Then I went to start my boat and I could hear the fuel line pressurize but the motor wouldn't make a sound. I'm assuming that I fried the starter or the solenoid on the starter. Does anyone know if that would be a just drain plug that is missing. The hole is threaded but seems like a different thread then the blue plugs. Any help would be great.. Thanks

I believe I am missing the exact same plug as you. For now I have a spare blue plug partially screwed in there. I say partially because I think the hole is either a smidge smaller, or there is a broken plug threaded in there. The partially screwed in plug is still letting drops of water out every few minutes but nothing that is stoping the boat or even enough for the bilge to pick up after a whole day running. I'll keep you updated if I mess with figuring it out and will keep an eye on this thread.

I think I have figured out what is going on with mine. I went to shoo yesterday and saw the same motor. There is no plug that goes in the hole where I'm leaking water. It is a cavity between the motor and tranny. The mechanic think I froze and cracked a freeze plug I the back of the motor. I hope that's not what yours is doing. The hole I'm leaking out of is to the very rear of the motor passenger side. I'll try to upload a picimage.jpg
