Did I make a $360 mistake?

So I just bought a Ronix Thruster on Ebay. It is not the carbon fiber one, but still a reasonable deal. The Parks Thruster has gotten a lot of rave reviews here before, so I thought I would give it a try. The one I bought has a different fin configuration than the carbon fiber version, but identical shape. I could care less that the board lights up at night, as I have always thought that surfing at night would be really cool, but my self preservation instinct has always talked me out of doing something that dumb.

Am I hosed that I bought the illuminated version instead of the Carbon fiber? Has anyone ridden both to know if the fin configuration is really going to make any difference?

Just as a random comment - pulling a rider after dark in Canada is illegal. It's like criminal offense illegal. I'm not sure why. And I'm not sure if surfing is classified as pulling a rider.

$360 is good value for any surfboard imho.

My buddy has the one that you didn't get. The nice thing about it is that there is not a "standard" fin configuration. There are a number of different setups that can be done based on the way the rider likes it or wants the board to react.
