How to change the light bulbs in the alpha tower

Could anyone knows how to remove the plastic clear cover for the alpha z tower. The front facing light bulbs needed to be changed but the clear covers seemed to be sealed and cannot remove.....

Duncan - not sure if yours are the same as mine - but my '09 lights had a plastic cover that just snapped onto the top of the assembly. Mine were severely weathered, and I asked Tige about getting some replacements (while I was getting some other items). They sent complete new assemblies, which have a clear cover that is screwed down. They were not quite perfect fit, but close enough to make them work with a little foam gasket material.

Dingle- can I ask the cost? Mine look almost as bad as yours did on my '11. The new ones look great!

Unfortunately, I don't know what they cost. The factory was bundling together a number of items to redeem a prize package for me after the local dealer had gone out of business, and they were included. I didn't have price breakdown. Sorry.

in regarding the smoke coat outside the cover, i used a spray to clean it with good result but I forgot the product name. I should be available in Canadian tire or home depot

I would like to do this as well. Do I need to contact my dealer to get these new lights? Also do the offer a LED version?

^ the bulbs are just a MR16 so you can easily replace with an LED bulb if you wanted too. My covers are yellow like the ones pictured above. There are different cleaners you can use (tooth paste too apparently) that will make them clear again. Saves you the cost of replacements.

Next to impossible to find these days. Start calling dealers.

I could use a set, if anyone kicks them up, too. If someone were fancy with a 3D printer, adding some high output LEDs, and eliminating the MR16s might be a little business opportunity. If I don’t find a set, I’ll probably just paint mine to match the tower and put a light bar on. Those things aren’t super helpful, anyways.
