GOPRO hooked up to video on Tige touch

    IMG_0055.jpg

All you need is a video cable http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_i...seq=1&format=2
IF you never want to worry about a battery http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_i...seq=1&format=2
along with a usb cigarette converter http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_i...seq=1&format=2

And a proprietary gopro combo cable http://www.amazon.com/GoPro-ANCBL-30...ro+combo+cable

I ran the video cable to the viper box under the drivers dash and the usb cable to the nearest 12v power point

I think the total cost was less than $40 in parts

Yes that is all you need. it plugs into the first video in slot on the blue viper box under the drivers dash.

can you view it on the TT screen only when it's in Record mode, or anytime the camera is on? Thanks for sharing the links and info.

Yes you only need one plug.

If you want power sent to your go pro then you also need a USB cable

You can watch on TT screen when ever the camera is on. I use the go pro remote to toggle record on and off. The TT screen shows when it's recording and what the resolution and camera mode is

The only thing that changes is the proprietary cable from gopro. Just order the one compatible with your camera

DrPorter......Did you cut thru the GoPro case to connect to the camera? I notice the floaty, is that just to recover the memory card? Assume if the camera gets dunked...it's all over. Has the suction cup worked?

                        Thanks.

they need to make a wireless, or blue tooth connection for the tige touch to pick up the go pro

I drilled a hole where the plug goes. You can also buy a Skelton case with a hole. I still need to ask the dealer about my plug I only have one wire ran and it powers and plays on video 1. All there boats are wired that way.
