Can someone tell me if the tower in the picture below is a Wake Design tower? I am looking to order a new cover for my 2003 22V and there are three options for towers listed. (Wake Designs, Phat Tower or reverse arch). I dont think it is the other two so that leaves me with Wake Design but I just want to make sure I get the right one.

It was the stock Tige tower used from 2003-2005. This one is not the infamous 'Metcrap' from 1999ish-2002ish. This one was not as bad, breaks are rare. Breaks in the older tower are very common.Be excellent to one another.

I thought the original "Z" tower was done by XTP? Either way, it wasnt designed for 300 lbs of speakers and tarpon polesMikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I surely can't beat up Wet Sounds.....it's not their fault two 485's and two Pro 80's weigh so damn much. I did change out the horns to save 6lbs though.
Don't rag on me about Tarpon fishing because it's TARPON SEASON and my butt will there out there shortly after I put this tower back together.
I wonder if Tige has a record for biggest fish caught on a Tige Ski Boat???
Would sure make a good picture.

So it is not the original poster's tower, and it wasn't even the original Z tower. Please correct me if I am mistaken about obama's tower.
This tower "was" a modified Z tower. Tim White had a "straight bar" installed to make extra room for more speakers. Two 485's and two Pro 60's. The original curved bar design didn't cut the cheese.
We since upgraded to replace the 60's and installed 80's.
Unfortunately, the straight bar proved faulty with lateral and shear stress.
Thus, we installed the cross members and gussets, plus a securing hole. The securing hole will be used to tie the tower down during transport or high seas from excessive Grouper and King fishing.
Forgot to mention we had a custom bimini installed that also mounts to the straight bar, which adds even MORE stress...............but well worth it.
