Really stupid question, but I want to change the fluids on my transmission and V Drive. Does anyone know how I get access to them for a fluid change?

usually through the fill holes\dip sticks. most use suck up pumps to remove the old fluids. Well at least that is how I do mine.
I have two of these. http://www.goodboatgear.com/detail/6...FewRMwodNUYAMA
one I use for water in my bildge, the other for tranny fluid and oil.Last edited by WakerideN; 05-06-2014, 03:10 PM.2011 Tigé RZ4

There will be a small carpet strip mounted on a piece of flat plastic on the front of the rear middle seat over the trans that will have a couple of phillips head screws in it. Remove them then there will be a few screws in the bottom seat part behind where the carpet strip was that need removed also. Then there will most likely be a screw on each side of the back part of the fiberglass seat. You will have to wiggle the seat a bit and feel inside the back part of the side seat compartments and you will find the screws. They are pretty far back to prevent it from tipping forward while sitting on it, so you will have to really stretch to get to them. I can send pics of mine if this info isn't enough to figure it out.

While you are in there, check the bolts in the horizontal cylindrical part of the housing (where the shifter cable attaches) in the top of this photo. Last year on of those bolts was barely finger tight on my boat and I lost a bunch of transmission oil into the bilge before I discovered it. I don't remember which bolt, but I believe it was the vertical one on top (left in the photo) that I cropped off in the picture. Or it might be the horizontal one on the left (bottom in the photo). Sorry, I don't know why the photos are getting rotated when I upload them. I believe I have seen another report on this forum about the same leak. You best check them all.
