Has anyone tried any other ballast bag in the front of a Z3 other than the factory surf/pro bags?? How did it fit etc., etc. would u recommend a factory bag or does an aftermarket bag work just fine...

Yes. I just installed the fly high open bow sac in my z3 under the bow. I took out the stock surf bag in the bow port side and used that plumbing for the triangular shaped open bow bag which was installed all the way to the front of the bow. I then took the starboard bag and turned it sideways across the back of the bow compartment (just in front of the cooler, but behind the new triangular bow bag). I now have plenty of weight in the bow for whatever I want and it only cost $180. -
Interesting...have you had them both plum full yet? Do they push on each other quiet a bit?

yes I have had them both full. They push on each other a little bit but not as much as you think. The compartment under the bow seats is a very large area. The only problem I had was that it was so much weight in the front that when I had my wife and 3 kids all sitting up there it flattened out my surf wave to much. so I simply emptied the stock bag and I was good to go.Comment
