New Wetsounds System

Got my system done but have issues! Noise with LEDs on: Is is only some colors or worse with certain colors? Is it more like a higher pitched buzz? With an RGB controller, theres a good chance you need to wire a capacitor across the leads to eliminate the added buzz with the LEDs on.

RE to the other noise: Engine ON? engine OFF? Both? Hiss with the volume low or no music playing, like white noise, buzz or whine with engine running and changes pitch with engine RPM, or crackly static? Is the EQ your only audio source, or is there still a head-unit in play? If so, any difference between having the EQ in the MAIN and AUX input modes? Did the boat have any amps installed prior?

It doesn't matter on color, it's happens right when there turned on. Boat can be on or off and in any mode. No amp prior.

Lots of important questions from CHP.

I am going to jump the gun before having any of those answers and state that 90% of the 'noise in my audio system' threads resolve themselves when the installer finally puts all of the grounds and power cables directly to the same source, usually right at the battery. In this case the LED ground is probably going to be somewhere with 1 of the other components, but not all of them.
