Speet Set Instructions... forgot em :(

I used this thing the whole 5 times I got to use the boat after I took delivery on Labor Day last year. But I either am forgetting something or it's broke. I almost 100% sure I'm forgetting something.

So here's what I'm doing, someone tell me where I'm going wrong.

Drop the throttle get up to speed, hit set, Drop the throttle all the way and let the computer do the rest. Is there something I'm forgetting? Am I supposed to hold the set button or something? My dealer said something about red lights, but I don't remember any of that.

Do you have the speed control switch on? Other than that you got it right. I think the speed set button blinks when it is engaged.

Do not drop the throttle the second time after pressing the set button, try pressing the throttle just slightly after pressing set.

Akdoc is right you have to switch the toggle on the dash on first. than once you get to the speed you want you push the accu set button you have to wait a couple of seconds for the blinking light to stop than full throttle!

Crap, I knew I was missing something. I swear I looked at the toggle switches for the on button but didn't notice one.

We were never told to drop the throttle all the way after the blinking light stops, is it necessary? We have just been getting up to speed and pushing the speed set button.

Sorry, I thought of 1 more thing, do you guys notice about a 1mph speed increase or decrease when you push the slower or faster buttons. It seems like we are getting a big change. Thanks.

Isnt it true, Say i get up to speed, set it at 22 mph. Then the rider falls, you put it in idle, when you get back up, its supposed to automatically go back to 22 mph right?

That is all we do and have not had any problems yet.

Are you supposed to drop the throttle when you go, and then pull back when you reach speed?

I have always throttled up to the desired speed then pressed the set button. On restarts I always throttle up to about the half way point and leave it.
