Thanks Ewok. We are building a new house here in Texas. We plan on building a 26' deep garage with a 12' ceiling and we're wondering what height door to put up. We have a Boatmate trailer and the tower camera.

Does the tower camera fold inside like the tow point does, to flip the light up? If so then you'll be ok with a 10' door I think. I measured mine from the top of the nav light, with a level to the side of the boat and down to the garage door and it's just shy of 10". I'd go for a 10'6" door because of variations in builders, door trim, garage doors that might not completely open to the top of the door frame, and garage door sills or gaskets at the bottom of the door. Better to clear it by 6.5" than miss it by an inch.2009 RZ2, PCM 343, MLA Surf Ballast, Premium Sound.

My Road Runner trailer (POS), was something like that 23" past the tip of the boat (with the tongue out of the way). I had them make it shorter, and i think im about 13" sticking out past the boat with the swing away tongue out of the way- after i had them rebuild the front of the trailer.
It's all going to come down to the trailer. With the swim platform off the taps plate sticks out about 1-1.5" past the rub rail.
boat with swim platform OFF 22ft 2" plus the distance from tip of the boat to tip of trailer (with the tongue out of the way)

The trailer on my RZR(Pickle fork) folded so the front of the boat was the furthest point forward. That was a 13 boat mate single axle. Can't comment on the 2014 Tandem under the new RZR as we haven't brought it home yet.

Well I just made no sense there. I read too fast and thought you were referring to your trailer.Last edited by Carter13; 04-25-2014, 12:08 AM.Formertigeowners.com
