The hunt is over, got our first Tige

First off, thanks to this site and Mike Allen, I purchased my first Tige after being in the hunt for 10 years. Back in 2004 I decided that Tige was the only boat to own for water sports but a deal presented itself so I settled on a Larson but always wanted that Tige.

This year my second oldest son and I decided that enough waiting had passed, so the hunt for a Tige was on. We both liked the 2006 thru 2008 24Ve models but the issue of finding one in the Northwest was daunting. After three months of searching and a deal falling through in Missouri, I posted a help wanted ad on Tigeowners.com and the next day Mike sent along a posting that not only looked good but was in Wyoming, a mere 750 miles away.

Folks, I got to tell you that this 2008 24Ve, 360h.p. 120hour boat looks like it came off the showroom floor. The previous owner Brent took care of his ride. Immaculate condition with just about every option you could want. My son picked it up yesterday and although I can only view it via pictures (current overseas deployment) I can tell you I am glad I waited until the right one presented itself.

So here is a picture (son in transit with it) and I am sure that I will be pinging the forums for additional info in the future.

Thanks again for everyone who dropped a lead or gave me some pointers.

That is great news - you will love that boat. It is really great when you patiently look through all the boats and "the right one" comes along. I look back at what I almost bought and am so glad i didn't. This sounds like exactly what you were looking. You will get many many years of enjoyment out of that boat. Congratulations.

Nice boat! I started with a Larson too. A nice starter boat, but nothing like a Tigé.

Wow, I'm glad the deal worked out for you and your family. It will be a great summer in the Middleton house!
Keep the pictures coming. The ones in the ad were horrible. Anyway, congratulations and stay safe over there!

Thanks to everyone for the nice comments.

Got about 78 days left before heading home. Home lake is CDA lake but we rarely get that far, normally we run the Spokane River and then during the summer spend two weeks at Priest Lake.

Posted a help note in the ballast section, most likely have to replace that front sac. Knew about the tear going into the deal but other than that, real pleased.

                              Thanks again,
                              Paul
