Sounds like you want to go out with a trained professional before trying this on your own.

Yeh, it is a good idea. I had only gone once before. Actually bought the chute off the same guy. Read the book and tally-ho.

Not too difficult, probably less than skiing or wakeboarding. The altitude is controlled by the speed of the boat relative to the wind. You need good knots on the rope, bowline is what you need to use. Other boats tend to give you a large clearance.

Just watch for bridges and power lines and stay away from the shore.

Maybe I'm to cautious or safety conscious, but it sounds a lot more dangerous than wakeboarding. Sounds like you need to understand how to maneuver a parasail-style chute.

I don't think it is too much more dangerous.

There is a commercial operation running these around on T-Rock. I think it would be great fun.

          I want one!

BTW, what does this have to do with trailers?

Dog, you know we can never stay on topic anyway.

I need to bleed the brakes on my trailer.

              There, back on topic!

All you can really do is move the chute left and right by leaning. Even that is somewhat limited. You sit in a harness hanging under the chute and you really do not have to hold on to anything.

What we are talking about here is a parachute like device, not a flyable device.

Now I still have not heard back from the dealer about my trailer.

                  Avoid Phoenix Trailers

See this link for the result of dealing with Phoenix trailers on the problems with the brakes.

                  Avoid using Phoenix trailers.
