Or you could specify an earlier model Tige and do your own template of your actual boat.

ya he said if I had an issue to call him, and he would work with tige to get me one. Still dont think it would be the group price. I am thinking about just saying I have a 2012, not sure if the floor layout has changed at all?

I think the key here is whether they use the factory-authorized 2013 and 2014 templates to produce your flooring. If YOU supply your own template, it doesn't really matter what year, brand, model, color, city, state, etc. you're talking about. You've simply asked them to cut a shape that you supplied - exactly like I will be doing.

So I think the cleanest course of action is to supply your own template. There needs be no mention on the order form of what kind of "fish processing workbench" or "deer skinning facility" you're planning to use this oddly shaped piece underneath. As for the Tige logo, you happen to be a fan of Tige and you'd like to proudly display their logo at your "worksite" just like other people have Dallas Cowboys mudflaps or whatever.

Buy some heavy plastic, cut it to shape, and save yourself hundreds of dollars.

Update on making the template. Two things I found out that I thought might be useful for others making a template:

          1) The video shows the guy making the entire seat base cut out (he talks about leaving a 1/2"). I was thinking that I wanted to base covered by decadence and only the post coming out. After cutting the bigger hole in my template (like the video), I asked Paul. He said that he prefers it and most customers prefer to cover the seat base and only the post come out. He said 3 out of 4 are ordered that way. I will be modifying mine to cover most of the base plate.

          2) Bigger is better. Paul said that the material will compress to fit your area (its spongy). So if your template is 1/4" too big, it will still look great and conform to the space! If its 1/4" too small, it will show the defect. I asked if I requested an extra 1/4" all the way around if they could do that or if I would need to build it into my template, he said they could add the 1/4" to the template as its digitized.

          3) They had 6MM plastic at Home Depot and it worked great. It easy to cut. It also easy to add material (tape it on) if you need to. After I drew my template, I cut it out and placed it back in the boat. There were a couple spots I didn't like so I could tape additional material on and redo that spot.

Hope to finish off my template (changing the captain's chair part) and get it to them soon. I am waiting on samples of Graphite, Deck Gray, and Luna Silver to show up.

That's really good to know. I'll cut mine a bit larger based on your findings.

That's exactly what I bought, and where I bought it. Paul mentioned (IIRC) 9mm but 6mm was the heaviest I could find without buying 100 foot rolls.

I will not get to my template for a few weeks. But Paul was ok with that.

How many people total signed up?

The weather and my schedule finally sync'd up and I started on templating today. ~3 hours into it for the main floor plus under the driver's seat and the two big storage compartments under the windshields. I have some detail work to finish up tomorrow, then hopefully it's on its way for manufacturing!

Under the seats on port side?

No, the underseat area is fully consumed by fat sacs on my boat. I'm talking about the storage areas that are in front of the main passenger area: The one directly in front of the driver's feet, and the one directly port (left) of it under the glove compartment. Those are the only two areas on my boat that aren't full of fat sacs, and our (often wet) gear goes in there so the carpet is always getting and staying wet. It's exceedingly hard to dry, too, especially on the driver's side since it only has one access hatch and so flow-through air is impossible.

USPS says my templates were delivered a week ago today. I haven't heard anything back from them. I presume they'd need to contact me for payment info {grin}. Anyone had any more interaction with them after shipping off your templates?

They have had mine since May 8th. They should send you an email once the production facility has opened the box. They appear to be running behind. Likely, the usual marine business spring/summer slam. I was contacted yesterday and they were finalizing the proof for my approval. I will let you know if I hear more.

OK, thanks for the update. I figured it was a backlog thing but nobody here had commented on interaction or delivery.

I want one too for my RZ4. Bow to stern. Grey and Black.

And since I"m NOBODY, I would like to know about interaction and delivery and price.

                            Thank you.

Review this thread. The contact is Paul Riches, his phone number is here along with quite a bit of info on price and options.

So I have contacted deckadence about this prodcut and group buy and the price was still to high to convince my better half that this was a needed upgrade since "the carpet is perfectly fine". I started searching the web for reviews and etc to help convince her and came across a local auto/marine upolsry company that was listed a dealer on their webiste. I gave them a call and they told me that they bought 5 rolls a few years ago to become a dealer but it was all gone except for this blue color. Well our boat is electric blue so I went by to check it out and it was the azule blue. A 30' by 4' roll that has never been touched. He tells me I can have the whole roll for cheap. I take a sample home and it turns out the azule and electric blue are the same. We talk price to where I feel comfortable since our carpet is dark gray I am not sure how it is going to look. I am willing to take a chance but not at a big loss.

I place our capet on top (at an angle it fit so no seems) and cut around it as a stencil. My wife made a stencil of the tige logo and we used black krylon spray paint for plastic for the logo amd wala. We have been using in boat for about a month and it is as advertised. Does not get hot (we are in florida so this was big deal for us) does not get dirty, stays put with no snaps, etc and dries super fast which is why I wanted it. Here are some pics. I have anout 20ft left so if anyone wants the azule blue give me a pm and we can talk.
