IMHO this is shaping up to be a very good deal. Roughly $500 with all discounts to get basic Deckadence in your boat. (Things like logos and borders will be extra.)

I will circle back to him and let him know we're collecting the years and models of interested parties. I'll submit them all to him in bulk so he doesn't have to keep dealing with this on a onesy-twosy basis. Post your data here and I will collect it.

    Thanks!
If I'm correct he should be quoting you in Canadian dollars, so in actuality, you will be paying less than that at "checkout". I found this to be a great surprise!! IMHO do the template, you will not regret it. You guys are going to love this stuff!!!

I have a 2006 24ve and interested in the group buy.
How are you guys going to deal with the holes in the fiberglass from the carpet base, that could be a lot of work to patch all the holes.
Does Deckadence have base we can use to cover the holes.

Not sure if you guys have seen this video.

Jump to 1:45 seconds for the late night infomercial example of cleaning off all kinds of stuff.

The other thing that had me sold was being on Ragboy's boat for Polar Bear in 2012 and again in 2013. He puts crazy hours on his boats and has tons of kids. His floor held up amazingly.

If you mean the holes from the snaps, I plan to just silicone those. They're so small they won't be a weight bearing problem. If you mean the uneven surface due to the leftover carpet glue, I plan to sand that down. Otherwise, what holes do you mean?

If and when I do this carpet conversion I would leave the holes open so water has a place to drain.

I thought about that, but the only snaps I have are in the bow and not located where they'd drain much anyway. Floor water in our boat accumulates in the rear corners, depending on which way we are listed for surfing at that moment. The carpet tends to hold it and prevent it from draining through the edges of the engine access box under the rear seat. I'm hoping the Deckadence lets it flow promptly through those edges and thus reduces the pooling we get today.

If there are other "holes" around I'm not aware of them, but I've often thought about adding specific drains in those corners. Trouble is, the proper spots appear to be directly over the stringers on either side. No joy there!

Response on color choices: "Deck Gray, Graphite and Luna are the most common for Tige. We usually have stocks of these." From which I infer that they can get the other colors, but there might be a delay. Personally I was leaning toward Deck Gray anyway, since I think it will be close to the existing carpet. Graphite looks too dark and Luna looks too light IMHO.

My father in law worked for deckadence a couple years ago and he had a mat made for my swim platform on my old MB. It was great and I wanted to do the whole interior of my boat but he ended up leaving the company before I could. Last year I lost it doing some power turns on the lake while waiting for my buddy to put the trailer in the water. It's now at the bottom of the lake. Would love to replace the carpet in my 22ve as well but I have other things on the list before that happens. ie: surf bimini and FAE.

Am I correct that they do logos like that by cutting and gluing in separate pieces in other colors? I wonder if you can feel the seams/dried glue under your bare feet. Or do they somehow apply the color change to one big piece?

Yes you're right in that its an insert but I dont really notice the glue too much when walking on it. Not a show stopper.

I am interested for my RZR if they already have a template.

Has anyone put this in the bottom of their lockers? Waste of money or good way to keep drained and dry?

Do they have a template for an 08 RZ2?

I would be in for a 2006 Malibu 247 carpet. Let me know if I need to create the template myself.

Has anyone used it as a sort of carpet saver? Malibu is fond of a bonded carpet that you put on top of your carpet (no, really) so that you can keep the base layer pretty much looking like new. I wonder if the water that drips through the dekadence into an underlying layer of carpet would still feel wet? Dekadence would be easier to pull up than my carpet saver is now, and then next winter I could tackle the task of destroying my floor and current carpet.
                                Be excellent to one another.
