If excessive amounts of spray-on sunscreens get on upholstery or really any plastic components there is a potential for discoloration and degrading. It is not the sunscreens themselves in most cases, although some of the polymers used in some sunscreen can eat away at their plastic cousins, but the propellants. The propellant, usually various alcohols, rapidly evaporates on your skin, hence the cooling feel or sometime a burning sensation. These alcohols can and will etch plastics, same with DEET in most bug sprays. The minor amount of overspray that is atomized and drifting around, is of little worry, nor is it a problem once dried on your skin for the most part. But, I would not advise spraying on your face, especially wearing your favorite sunglasses.
