ACME Prop Group Buy? - Any interest?

For what it's worth, I called ACME to see what would work best for my 2013 Z1. As some of you may have seen, we 2013 Z1 guys running the boatmate trailers have a clearance problem. The props are dinging the prop guard on the trailer. So a 1" increase, even with the bunk correction, isn't gonna fly. So I explained this to ACME and he suggested a 1433. It is a 14" instead of a 14.5" diameter.
Mike was right on for the price. $610 retail. I have to consult my wish list to see what I else I need to buy this year before I jump into the group buy however.

And yes, it sucks. And it affects a lot of Z1's.

Remember, an ACME prop makes a wonderful, Mother's day, Father's day, Birthday, late Valentines day etc, etc gift!! Or as some great philosopher once said "Roses die, but a new prop brings families together..." at least that is how I remember it!Sent by the random thoughts from the voices in my head... Eric

I have already ordered 600 lbs of lead and will be adding four extra batteries (two per side) at 100 lbs each.
That and how much did you spend on that boat? and one dinged prop can ruin a weekend trip - my lake is 2 hours away (not towing the boat). Don't forget to get a prop puller and extra keys and prop nut.
I currently am running a 1235 and am buying a 1873 and a 1615.Sent by the random thoughts from the voices in my head... Eric

What prop comes with it, sometimes the bigger motors they increase the pitch on the prop so it shows better number for boattest.com type (unloaded) of testing? If you add ballast (and if you surf you will), prop is likely the next upgrade. In rough water, I got cavitation on the prop that came with my boat even before I started weighing it heavy.
I have an order in with Mike for a cross pump and prop. Great service and expertise!Mods: MLA BIG Ballast System (1800+ Custom sacs, 2 500 W705 sacs under bow), Duffy Surf Flap Mod, Trimmed Swim Deck, Top-Mount Starter
