For what it's worth, I called ACME to see what would work best for my 2013 Z1. As some of you may have seen, we 2013 Z1 guys running the boatmate trailers have a clearance problem. The props are dinging the prop guard on the trailer. So a 1" increase, even with the bunk correction, isn't gonna fly. So I explained this to ACME and he suggested a 1433. It is a 14" instead of a 14.5" diameter.

Mike was right on for the price. $610 retail. I have to consult my wish list to see what I else I need to buy this year before I jump into the group buy however.

Wow! that blows, to spend that much on a boat and have the trailer keep you off a 14.5" prop? That doesn't seem right. Though I did run my 1617 (14" diam.) on my RZ4 and the boat ran fine.

Can you mod your trailer's prop guard?

I could make mild adjustments to the prop guard. I'm going to wait for the new bunks first. Sitting on the trailer it has 5/16 clearance but the impact occurs during loading/unloading. I think if I revise my technique, I can prevent it from happening.

And yes, it sucks. And it affects a lot of Z1's.

Awesome! Thanks again Chpthril for putting this together, now come on folks!!

Remember, an ACME prop makes a wonderful, Mother's day, Father's day, Birthday, late Valentines day etc, etc gift!! Or as some great philosopher once said "Roses die, but a new prop brings families together..." at least that is how I remember it!

Any reason to upgrade the factory prop on a 2014 RZ4 with the S62?

                      lake elevation
                      typically a large crew
                      lots of ballast
                      need a spare prop?

If you are running an RZ4 (I am), and plan on boarding or surfing, you will be upgrading the ballast. That boat likes a LOT of ballast and can handle it easily. Last year I put 1100s in my rear locker and wish I had gotten the Enzo style.

I have already ordered 600 lbs of lead and will be adding four extra batteries (two per side) at 100 lbs each.

That and how much did you spend on that boat? and one dinged prop can ruin a weekend trip - my lake is 2 hours away (not towing the boat). Don't forget to get a prop puller and extra keys and prop nut.

                        I currently am running a 1235 and am buying a 1873 and a 1615.

What prop comes with it, sometimes the bigger motors they increase the pitch on the prop so it shows better number for boattest.com type (unloaded) of testing? If you add ballast (and if you surf you will), prop is likely the next upgrade. In rough water, I got cavitation on the prop that came with my boat even before I started weighing it heavy.

I have an order in with Mike for a cross pump and prop. Great service and expertise!

When is this buy closing? I'm in, just need to determine which prop to go with. Probably the 1235...

I should know Monday what prop is coming with my 2014 Z4
Is it unrealistic to expect the dealer the swap to the 1235 if that's not what so. It ?

Pro ballast with indmar 350 and VX

Sounds like I will be adding more ballast capacity sooner or later.
