    FOR 2013 Z1 BoatMate Owners:
As the boat sits on the trailer there appears to be around 1.75" of clearance to the prop guard. The guard does seem to rise a little toward the back. With this clearance, I am thinking a 1235 ACME prop may fit fine as it is only taking 0.5" of additional clearance since that is 1/2 of the diameter increase. ACME recommends 3/4" of clearance between the prop and the bottom of the hull to prevent "gel coat burning" and it looks as if the Z1 with stock 13.5" prop has just short of 1.5" - the 1235 would be drop that between 0.75-1". The 14" prop recommendation from ACME was the 1433

I have a little more Z1 Specific info and pics in the following Thread:

Chpthril - Give me overnight to determine if I should squeeze in the 1235 or play it really safe with the 1433 (any advice from people on this is welcome and appreciated)

I ran a 14" 1617 on my RZ4 last year which is a 14" diameter and it was fine. But I have changed over since then to 14.5" props.

If it were me and it was the trailer holding me up from running the largest diameter prop, I would mod the trailer and run the correct prop. Seems ridiculous that a trailer design would be the determining factor on prop selection. These are not low dollar boats and you shouldn't have to work around the trailer.

Am I missing something on why not just order it there vs. a group buy?
Because Mike has been a HUGE benefit to these forums, same reason not to shop at Home Depot if you don't have to.

I think I made the list, and if so I'd also like to get the puller kit with C-clamp with a 1235. Do I need to do anything at this point or just wait for an invoice?

Good reminder to check out the procedure WAboating posted on removing a stubborn prop:
                http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...567#post706567

I thought my last prop would never come off until I used that no heat method.

OK, This ACME Group Buy is officially closed!

If you think you are in and DID NOT receive an invoice via email, then check your spam/junk filter and then PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP!

Dandy, you are the exception on the emailed invoice, so dont panic.

I am less worried about the payment right this moment and more concerned that everyone that wanted in is in and have received an email with the correct order.

This order will be placed in the AM.
