Those rules suck - welcome to the no fun zone. We do follow the no orange snacks or glass. But holy crap what a buzzkill. It's your boat if you wanna fish, tube, wakeboard, wakesurf, make crazy rules and try to enforce them go for it. Just have fun.

Wow, I just read the classic not-a-fun-day-on-the-water rules and remember seeing that guy with his Eliminator and his family and friends wiping the boat down BEFORE launching it. NO GLASS CONTAINERS is all I'll agree to.
-If you get invited on the boat, have a good time.
-Drink if you want
-Show some boobs if you want
-Gas money (or diesel, if I ever get that finished) if you want but whatever, it's really about having fun for us and not worrying about fair share.
-If you're a douche, don't expect to get invited back.
-If you enjoy the chronic, see above.
-Ladies, the safest place for you to sit on the 2100i is on top of the engine hatch with your legs securely wrapped around the ski pole allowing for no fore and aft movement. You'll probably never complain about getting up early to wakeboard ever again.
We have beaten the crap out of our 99 and it's still cleaner than any other I've seen, just recently had my first upholstery tear and thats with 10 years of dogs and kids on the vinyl (pocket knife malfunction).
Oh well, to each their own.Fixing everyone elses boat just so I can use mine...

I work and live on a tug boat for three weeks out of every month. I have waited a very long time to be able to afford a boat for my family. My family loves wakeboarding/surfing and also fishing. How we use our boat should not be a concern of yours. I was just wondering if anyone had done it. We buy our boats to have fun and make memories with our family.

I dont follow all the rule. Everybody that comes out has fun. Those tige rules have been posted on this site for a long time but I haven't seen them surface for a while. My buddy said I need to add more onto them. " you may only pee in the water but must swim for 5 minutes after to wash you swimsuit before getting back in the Tige. Hell I never pull a tube.

I don't have any good pics because we usually troll at night. I will take some daytime shots this weekend and post them for you. They are not too fancy so don't get too excited and I will build you a set if you would use them. I need to post a few pics because the folks at WWS in Denver did a fantastic job of mounting my fish finder and everyone could benefit from their ingenuity.
Good for you and your family. Had to sell my first Tige to save my family. Now that I have full custody of my kids and an RZ2 I would tear down heaven and hell before telling them they couldn't fish on the boat.
The overwhelming majority of Tige owners are great people - just misguided on the angling side of things. After I had to sell my first boat, many of my Tige friends offered me their boats so my kids wouldn't have to go without. One of my closest friends offered me his 22i for the entire summer. That's family.

How the hell did this thread escape me???
Yes, I'm the Nobody that installed 2 fishing pole holders on my RZ4.
Yes, I'm the Nobody that goes 20 miles out into the gulf once a month and comes back with more grouper than we know what to do with.
Yes, fishing is FUN and all you need is a boat. ANY BOAT.
A boat is a boat is a boat..........so maximize the use.
Can't tell you how much fun we have.
This was from a few weeks ago, we were in 60' of water, about 17 miles off shore from Clearwater Beach.
We didn't keep the Key West Porgy or the blow fish (of course)
Tower is a cracked up and is at the fabricators for repairs and reinforcement.
Can't wait to go back out.

Basic rule of thumb is this: Have a good time and treat our boat with respect as if it were yours. If you are on our boat, it means we invited you. You are our guest. It is our responsibility to make sure that you are safe while with us. It is our responsibility to make sure that you know if I've got any pet peeves, or, I mean "special rules" on our boat. It is our responsibility to understand that if you are new to boating, even if I explained our rules, you are in a different environment and may make mistakes, and I should not have a temper tantrum. As our guest, if you do not have a relaxing and pleasant experience, we have failed. Life is stressful enough, we are on our boat to relax and enjoy life.
