Perfect Pass problem

Is anyone else having problems with the perfect pass (06 22ve)? It seems to overshoot the speed way to far. And sometimes dosent engauge at all. Mine dosent accelerate when you make turns so getting turned around when pp is engauged is a problem. I have talked to the dealer and they cant seem to figur out what is going on. I dont know if this is a pp problem or a problem at the factory.

Anyone having this problem????????????

I'd contact the folks at Perfect Pass. They have lots of experience and are usually very helpful.

What engine do you have? There is a service bulliten out on the Perfect Pass and the MP throttle by wire.

I have had my Accu set (06 22ve) not engage a few times on first try. But it works perfect after it is set. It does however seem to have a really slight almost like a miss in the motor as it engages.

We are thinking of adding PP to our 06 20i with the MP. What issues are in the service bulletin?

It only effects the ones with throttle by wire, when did you get yours?

It was built in early November. It does have throttle by wire.

In the MP wire harness you will need to disconnect one of the wires for the throttle by wire.

Dont get me wrong perfect pass is a must if you ski or wakeboard! They just have a few bugs to work out on this new throttle by wire.

In researching pp for my boat, it looks like there are several perameters that can be adjusted on the pp to make it react differently. I called pp and talked to Gary. He was very helpful and knew a lot about using their system in a Tige. It would be worth calling them.

I have talked to the guys at perfect pass and they sent me a few things to try. I will try theese things and report back.
