    2013 Z1 Bluetooth

Hey guys, so as some of you may know I am a new owner of a 2013 Z1. My boat has the tige touch screen with bluetooth audio connection. I recently took the boat out for my first time and noticed that everytime I shut the boat off I have to reconnect my phone to play music. It gets VERY frustrating after a few times. Is there anyway for the system to remember the phone and connect automatically like most cars do? I am either not doing something right or I feel that someone on here has figured out how to bypass this issue. All info will be helpful! Thanks in advance.

I couldn't ever figure out how to make it connect automatically. It got extremely annoying as you mentioned and I ended up ditching it altogether. Which is my recommendation for you. I have heard the Wetsounds Bluetooth adapter works very well, I am thinking about putting one on my boat.

      1sicktige,

There are two things going on together, but only one I can offer some advice. 1) is the head-unit powering off and back on when the key is rotated from the run to the ACC position. This causes the BT to unsync, then resync. This has been an issue since SAT first came out and USB was next. The fix is to relocate the accessories from the key switch to a rocker switch, thus leaving the head-unit powered up and not controlled by the position of the switch. 2) I cant see a reason why the BT will not find your phone and resync automatically each time the BT is powered up. This is not new technology. This, im sorry, I do not know how to change that setting.

Install the magic button. It will fix that problem and the problem with ballast shutting off when you turn the key.

Thanks for reply! I am not great with electrical so that slightly went over my head. But dad's an electrical engineer so I'll show him your reply and see what he says. Maybe this is the solution.

Ok this is really easy. I didn't run the pin 20 wire. If you loot at the back of the ignition switch you will see 2 red wires in one ring connector. Remove the 2 wires off the switch. Then cut off the ring connector and tie them together with a butt connector. These 2 wires are you accessory wires. Connect these wires to one side of the switch. Then run a red wire from the fuse block above the ignition switch to the other side of the switch. If you follow the first post it really shows you every thing you need to do. http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...-Phase-1-and-2
