Recall On 2014 GM Trucks and 2015 Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon (XL) - FIRE

I just want to pass this information along as alot of us have to drive larger vehicles for towing out boats. GM is having an issue with 2014-2015 vehicles with the 6 speed auto tranny. This issue can cause vehicle fires. While looking into 2015 Yukons I found a pic of one on fire - this was on a dealer test drive. I felt this is good information to have to keep you and your family safe if you drive these vehicles. For more info check out the LA Times article in the link below.

Seems like they hired that new female CEO primarily to oversee all these GM recalls. Maybe they figure she looks better on camera while testifying before Congress.

I guess my new truck falls into that category. I have not received anything in the mail yet though.

Chris - this is why I wanted to get this out as one article I read stated that GM will be sending out notifications the week of April 28th. I would think that vehicles starting on fire might be somewhat urgent. I am not trying to bash GM, just want to keep my fellow boaters and their families safe.
