Most warranties are pretty similar. Most boat manufacturers do not cover spider/ gel cracks for many of the reasons mentioned above. Some don't even cover gel voids. This isn't just Tige, but rather an industry norm. If it was standard to cover them Tige would be, the inboard market is to competitive to not be doing what the other guy is. Who else is offering 3 years free maintenance?

I also hate the fine print of the warranty but they all have them there so what can you do??

Let me help you out...Mastercraft-1 year, Malibu-2 years, Nautique-3 years for gel coat warranty. These interior cracks are very unlikely owner negligence and very disappointing if OP reports it's not covered by Tige.

The chance of it being covered is pretty slim unfortunately they go case by case it depends. Tige still offers a good warranty for example the 360 plus program which to my knowledge many others do not offer. The stress cracks are cosmetic not structural although they are annoying they aren't a big deal..

No doubting, but do you have a link to where you found that info on other manufacturers covering the gel?

Resink, which none are transferrable to second owner...expect the "lifetime" Tige hull warranty with a fee.
Edit: not "lifetime" to second owner, up to 10 years. I agree it's cosmetic and annoying, but when it's your brand new boat you would be sick.

just more and more reasons I dont want to buy a new boat.. Prices are crazy. They boat cracks they dont fix it after you spend that money.. Hell even cars have a 3yr 36k on the paint finish

thtrog that is correct in regards to the transferrable to the second owner...I do also agree that it is frustrating and makes you sick especially after spending a large sum of money. The gel-cracking is something that the factory handles on a case-to-case basis. I hope the OP is able to come up with a reasonable solution and one that doesn't force him to pay 100% the cost (retail prices and max labor rate) hopefully the dealer and or Tige will offer to help cover a portion of the cost either in discounted parts or labor.
