    Lieform 9 leds

Im thinking of replacing my 1 stock under water led to 2 lifeform 9 leds. Does any one have these installed on their boat. I was also looking at the shadow caster but the price of one shadow caster I can almost get 3 lifeform 9. Has any one seen either light in person?

I have not installed any of the LF-9, but I have done the LF-6 in red and green and have been impressed. Doing 3 more red LF-6 next week on a 46 Cigarette.

I have done quite a few of the Shadow Caster 10's in white, red green and blue. The are bright and well built. Have yet to experience a problem and I have carried them since they launched.

Dont overlook the SC-4 and SC-6

Here is a pic of a 22ve with a pair of SC-10 Bumini Blue in a murky river with a red clay bottom taken just after sunset

3 LF-6 red, but in the shop. No water shots, sorry.

Try searching on themalibucrew.com and wakeworld.com for some reviews. There were 2 very interesting threads. Try google as there was one on a go-fast boat forum too.

Looking at the out put of the lifeform 9 it rated at 2,637 lumens. The aqua ax-18 is a HUGE 1500 LUMENS. Shadow caster 10 are rated at Lumen Output - 2500. If a lumens is the same a watt is ratted on a stereo then it looks like the lifeform is the most output for the price.

There are a few ways a Lumen can be measured and there is no industry STD in measuring, so it can be a misleading spec when judging a lights output. A lamps current draw will give you some insight into its output.

                    SCM-10 = 3.4A @ 12V

                    LF-9 = 2.7 @ 12V

Here is a great comparison thread http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/showthread.php?t=702750

Trying not to tangent the thread, but can anyone offer some insight into blue vs white for color option?

Also any opinions on the Abyss mini starfish? I am looking at installing some LEDs in the next month or so.

I'm going with blue. I have red leds through out the boat but wanna go blue under water. Last year we were on the beach and someone had blue leds. He was playing his music and there were alot of people dancing behind the boat. The ble leds shined like black lights so the swim suilt were glowing. It was pretty sick.

White is typically brighter than blue
